Hey this was doubtlessly one of the most intelligent articles I have come across on the subject so far. I do not understand where you gather up all of your information but keep it coming! I'm gunna send some individuals to this site to read this. Fantastic, simply awesome. I am have just started getting into writing articles myself, nothing compared to your writing skills (lol) but I'd love for you to look over my article someday!

Evan, just happened across this again - nice to see the photo - was thinking, has anyone used Cymatics with school kids 5-10 year olds? Was looking for simple experiments they could make to get them excited and making stuff...

Evan,
Watched your talk on TED... is was great, concise and to the point.
I'm always looking for hard evidence to support the Sound and Vibrational healing work I provide full time with ancient Himalayan Singing Bowls in South Florida www.SingingBowlGuRu.com .
The over tones created with the Acutonics Tuning Forks, Rare Earth Crystal and ancient Himalayan Singing Bowls lock in at a body cell memory level releasing and relaxing stored energy while balancing and aligning the chakras.
Thank you for your portal of on-going research.
Namaste´

hey, im a painting student at VCU in Richmond VA. your TEDTalk of cymatics really blew my mind wide open to all of the possibilities that cymatics contained and i really want to explore it within my art. luckily VCU offers a grant program that enables students to explore things that they otherwise would not have been able to. i am intending to apply for the grant, which is due nov 6th, so i can investigate cymatics with the intention of including it in a large scale kinetic piece. i was wondering if you had any advice. i really want to add to the language cymatics has created in the art world instead of repeating things that have already been accomplished. If i get this grant, i really want it to add to the current dialect that you have going through the Cymatics Community site. - thanks so much, Ash.

Dear Ted Brilliant!!! I am so glad to see Cymatiks receiving the depth of attention which they deserve. I work mostly with voices and voice therapy, and feel that every one has a unique vocal signature and therefore the unique form that goes with it. I look forward to hearing more of your work. All good wishes, Olivea

I'm an artist working in Canada. My next project involves extending sign language into a full body expression through dance. I'm intrigued by the possibilities of making sound/music/language visible for an audience - for both a deaf and hearing audience.
I'm plotting this with a reknowned modern dancer Margie Gillis, as well as a sign language translator and dancer, taiko drummers, a deaf artist, a Japanese calligrapher.
Is there anyone working on cymatics in my neck of the woods who might have some interest in such an exploration?
Thanks.

Evan,

I thought your presentation on TED was phenomenal. I just wanted to throw something out there - I have heard that the meditative chanting of "OM" is an attempt at replicating the sound made when the universe was created. I'm not sure if you've tried to recreate it through cymatics, but it might be an interesting experiment to check out.

Keep doing what you do! I hope to see you again on TED with the next big thing.
